Chinese Patent Formulas

Ready-made formulas to treat general conditions are available in the form of Chinese Patent Medicines. Most of the herbal formulations readily available today were first described 1000-1500 years ago. The long period of successful use of these formulas points both to their efficacy (effectiveness in treating the condition) and safety. At Sheepish, we use patent formulas and raw herbs from Mayway, who sells products under the Plum Flower and Min Shan label. These formulas are manufactured in China under strict GMP requirements. Mayway also continuously tests their products for purity and content from their laboratories in California.
