Rosita Arvigo

Rosita Arvigo is the founder of the Ix Chel Foundation in Belieze (Ix Chel is the Mayan Goddess of Medicine). Besides making the "Rainforest Remedies", the foundation works to encourage the continuation of Mayan Healing knowledge and practice. Part of the proceeds of all sales goes to indigenous healers to aid them in living lives of dignity and self-sufficiency. These herbs are gathered in the traditional ways with prayer and reverence.

Steve recently (June 2004) heard lectures by Rosita in N. Carolina. Anne and Steve attended a 4 day workshop by Rosita in September 2004 on Mayan Spiritual Bathing. Her books are STRONGLY recommended.
