Tropical Lullaby

Ellipsis Arts continues their exploration of world lullaby traditions with TROPICAL LULLABY, themed after the soothing melodies of the Caribbean and South Pacific regions. Backed by light instrumentation (guitar, ukulele, flute, steel drums, piano), the highlight of these pieces is the vocals, which are soft, sweet and comforting. The music is slightly breezy, with a laid-back sort of vibe that is common with music of the island regions. What better way to drift off to sleep than by being serenaded as ocean waves crash in the background. Artists include Mariana Martin (Brazil), Juan-Carlos Formell (Cuba), The Moonlighters (Hawaii), Othello Molineaux (Trinidad) and many more artists.
