Drawing on her Native heritage Alice Gomez presents a unique release of music inspired by Native American night chants and lullabyes. Gomez is accompanied by Marilyn Rife on percussion and her sister, Madalyn Blanchett on flutes. Moods evolve from upbeat to reflective using multiple flutes, ceremonial percussion instruments, Yaqui-style harp and synthesizer. Gomez presents a sonic portrait of a variety of ceremonies and dances from a variety of tribes.
